While the Tributes from the poor District 12 don’t have the lavish clothes as those in the Capitol, but the actors who played them still had to change their appearance. Josh Hutcherson, who plays Peeta Mellark, put on 15 pounds for the role. He told People Magazine, “I had to eat two chicken breasts and two handfuls of broccoli five times a day.” Plus, an early attempt to lighten his hair made it turn “orange and then this weird green.”
